So Much to Be Thankful For!
We trust you enjoyed your Thanksgiving! We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving Day with our family at home in Milwaukee. We enjoyed a delicious meal, along with my favorite pie, which I think will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb—pecan pie! I don’t have enough space in this letter to express all the things we are thankful for, but I do want to say how thankful we are for your prayers and support! God has been so good to us!
42%!
We are thankful that Fellowship Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio, voted to partner with us to reach Uruguay with the Gospel! We enjoyed visiting their church and presenting our ministry back in August! We started September at about 25% and are now at over 42% of our monthly support goal! There are a number of churches that we are waiting to hear back from by December or January. Please pray with us that we can reach the halfway point by January. I’ve been told that deputation goes by much faster after that, which I hope is true for us! I would love to be close to being done with deputation around this time next year, but we are trusting in the Lord’s timing. He knows best!
Bus Ministry Reunion!
We enjoyed going to the Bus Ministry Reunion at First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana, in November. We were members there for seven years during Bible college and afterwards. We have great memories of our time working in the Bus Ministry there! The biggest blessing for me was seeing a bus kid we picked up named James, who is not only still coming to church, but is also going to the Christian school! Praise the Lord for lasting fruit!
Souls Saved!
The Saturday before Thanksgiving, we went soul winning as a family at our home church. We went to an apartment complex because it was chilly and we had our boys with us. We met a couple of families that were interested in coming to church, and we also met Jenna and Luis. Christa led Jenna to the Lord on her 19th birthday! Praise the Lord! She now has a physical and a spiritual birthday on the same day! I had the privilege to lead Luis to the Lord in his apartment. He trusted in Christ for salvation and plans to come to church. Please pray that they will grow spiritually.
