I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did! We were blessed to spend Thanksgiving with my parents in Ohio in between meetings there. Some of my siblings were able to travel and be there as well. We had a great time of fellowship and, of course, eating great food! I think I gained five pounds! I’m so thankful to have a godly home to go to for the holidays!
Busy Fall!
This fall was a busy but productive time of presenting our work and ministering in churches. In October and November, we presented our work in five states and traveled over 5,000 miles in our car. We were privileged to be a part of seven Missions Conferences at the following churches: Maranatha Baptist Church, New Testament Baptist Church, Valley Baptist Church, Gospel Light Baptist Church, Open Door Baptist Church, Souls Harbor Baptist Church, and Lake Avenue Baptist Church. Thank you to each church for the opportunity! We were privileged to be at the first Missions Conference at Gospel Light with Pastor McCurdy (pictured left). Lake Avenue in Elyria, Ohio, ran the Christian school I went to and is also where I surrendered to be a missionary! We also presented our work in eight churches. It was truly a blessing to be at each and every church! Scores of people said they would pray for us. That’s what it will take to reach Uruguay!
Changed Lives!
While at the Missions Conference at Lake Avenue, I went soul winning with the church (pictured left). It was a freezing cold day. Zach and I met Christine and her two sons. She allowed me to explain to her how to go to Heaven while Zach witnessed to her sons. With tears in her eyes, she prayed and trusted in Jesus to take her to Heaven! Her son Nate was saved also! They all came to church on the bus the next day (pictured left)! The following Sunday, they came, and Nate followed the Lord in baptism.
We hope you enjoy your Christmas and New Year’s celebrations! Our spring schedule is mostly booked, but we do have a good amount of openings next summer and fall. Please pray for the Lord’s help to fill them with the right meetings!
Yours for souls,
Tim Simmons
