“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9) It has been a busy two months, with the Lord blessing us with more fruit as we labor together for Christ. So far this year, our church ministries have seen over 3,230 salvations and 149 baptisms. It is exciting to see the fruit of training dozens of soul winners in the last 7 years.
In April, we finished our college academic year, as I taught classes about Romans, Angels, and Galatians. On April 22, we had our second graduation with 3 graduates. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to use them after all that has been invested in their lives.
Our annual Vacation Bible School followed in late April, with 25 locations having daily meetings and a rally on Friday. God blessed, as we recorded 254 salvations among the children who came. Many continue to come to church, so please pray for their spiritual growth.
April and May are our “summer” months here, with schools on vacation. May 22-24, our church hosted a Youth Rally with the theme “Choose.” More than 100 teens listened to 11 messages preached by American Missionary Doug Marco, Pastor Felix Peñaflorida, Pastor Rackson Suico, Bro. Emirson Ubas, and Pastor Randy DeMoville. The teens were excited and made many important decisions regarding their relationships with the Lord and living a holy lifestyle. Some are already facing stiff opposition from their unsaved family members, so please pray that they will continue to stand for the Saviour.
Thank you for praying for my son Amos, who was recently involved in a serious car accident. God has raised him up, and he is back to work. His wife Lacey gave birth to Esther on May 19. While Esther has some birth defects to her limbs, we are hopeful that God will bless long-term physical therapy and surgeries to enable her to lead a normal life.
Thank you for supporting us with your prayers and finances. I love being able to teach college students about the Bible and practical ministry. I am privileged to go soul winning where we see souls saved every week and many thank you for sharing Christ with them.
May you also see much fruit for your labors during your summer months. You will reap if you keep sowing!
Yours for the souls of men,
Scott Christiansen
