The year 2024 is far gone, and now we are facing the year 2025. In fact, we are already in the third month. Things which happened in the past year are already memories, but souls saved are all current and eternal. Everything in God’s eyes is present. He and all of Heaven are still rejoicing over the 1,006 souls saved last year, only by His grace and mercy.
As the year started, we were still completing our mission trip on the island of Luzon. We visited a few more churches before heading back to our home province of Albay in the city of Legaspi. It was an extraordinarily long but encouraging trip for us. We learned so many things from the pastors, which we can use in our ministry at FBC Daraga.
Just as the school classes started, we were back at our personal soul-winning ministry. We thank the Holy Spirit for guiding us and empowering us as we shared the Gospel with the people on the school campus and in the surrounding community. Again, we were able to reach a group of senior citizens in a local community through the help of a couple whom we led to Jesus. Some of our fruits are now attending the church services, as shown in our photos. Please pray also that the Madrinian family would remain faithful in their church attendance. I met the father, Alvin Madrinian, on one of our soul-winning activities on the Bicol University campus. He was a tricycle driver waiting for his student passenger when I approached him. After presenting the Gospel to him, he accepted Jesus into his heart and got saved. He also gave me his address, as he wanted me to share the Gospel with his family too. We were able to find it after two attempts. His wife Leah, his children, and some neighbors got saved that day, and they attended our church service on the following Sunday.
Again, we saw how God’s hands moved during these past two months. He led us to see 171 souls profess their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. To God be glory!
Please pray that God would give us traveling mercy during our trip to the U.S. for our annual checkups and to address some health issues. Also, pray for blessings as we attend the 2025 First Baptist Church Servants’ Conference in March.
We give all the glory to God and praise Him for His mercy. May the Lord Jesus Christ continue showering us with His love and protection as we continue to work in His vineyard.
