Praise the Lord! Within the next few days, we will be securing our plane tickets to return to Turkey! My heart is filled with gratitude as I see the unmistakable hand of God directing our steps. His ways are higher than ours, and He has opened doors in ways I could never have imagined. Yet, even as I rejoice in this, my heart is burdened for fellow laborers who still have no clear path back into the country. They, too, long to return to the field, but obstacles remain. Please pray for them.
These past two months have been some of the most trying of our journey—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Wave after wave of sickness has hit our family. Meetings have been scarce. The deep longing to be back in Turkey has only intensified. And above all, the reality of leaving our daughter behind is starting to sink in. It has been a season of trials, but through it all, God has been gracious! Every sermon I heard during this time seemed divinely appointed, speaking directly to my heart in my moments of greatest need. Truly, God is so good!
I am beyond honored to be the father of a Godly young lady. Watching S___ grow in grace and truth has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. I am convinced that her virtue and spiritual maturity are the result of God’s abundant grace—and I know your faithful prayers have played a role in that! Thank you! Your prayers for our family are very precious to us!
In Turkey, S___ served as our church pianist, a blessing to the congregation in more ways than I can express. And now, as we have traveled across the States, God has continued to use her meek and quiet spirit to minister to churches through her music and singing. The Lord has opened the door for her this coming fall to further her music training at H___-A___ College! Watching God provide for her outside of my own ability has been a powerful reminder of His faithfulness and a comfort as we prepare to part ways this April.
For those who would like to encourage her during this time of transition, you are welcome to send her a card of encouragement at the following address:
450 Jewett Street
Platteville, WI 53818
She will be turning 18 in April, and we would love to gather and present any cards sent before her birthday as part of her celebration. Once she settles at HAC, we will provide a new mailing address for her.
Please continue to pray for the work in Turkey. God is moving! More souls are hearing the Gospel. More are trusting Christ. More are taking the step of baptism. More are developing a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Reports from our team are filled with stories of God’s faithfulness—and these victories are fruit to your account!
However, there are many challenges ahead. Our team leader’s visa renewal is uncertain, with constant changes to regulations making it a difficult process. Please pray. We need wisdom for every logistical detail as we prepare to transition back. But in all of this, we are confident in one thing: we serve an all-powerful God!
Now, more than ever, we must press forward with all diligence and add virtue to our faith. The hour is late. The need is great. Let’s provoke one another to do more for Christ while we still can!
Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying. Thank you for believing in what God is doing!
