Thank you for your faithful prayers and support! We appreciate so much all of the cards that you sent to us for our birthdays and anniversary, etc.! Our kids especially enjoy receiving cards!
Little G___ was safely delivered on July 20. He is already very loved and spoiled by all of his siblings. He seems to be an easygoing little fella, who fits right in already.
Shortly after he was born, V___, daughter M___, and husband Y___, whom we originally met at the park, came to visit on a Sunday while we were still meeting in our house, and we were able to explain more of the Gospel after going through a lesson. Please pray that they will choose to believe on Christ.
We have been able to get most of the basics ready for the new meeting location and have been meeting there for a couple of months. We praise the Lord that nearly every week since we have been meeting there, we have had someone outside of our team come. In fact, the very first week we attended, some of the landlord’s Christian family came to make sure that we were not a cult. They came back to participate in several services. Then during the Mid-Autumn Festival, we had a grill out in front of the church, and some of their family had their barbecue at their shop on the opposite side of the road, allowing us to be able to meet more of their family. Their relatives, R___ and Z___, were a couple of kids who ended up coming to the Wednesday prayer meeting and hearing the Gospel clearly. I also got to meet and have a couple of long conversations with another neighbor named S___.
Our family went down to Kaohsiung, as I was invited to speak at a week of their Missions Month. It was good to see familiar faces, and we even got to meet a former online language teacher who came to church for the first time. I spoke in both the morning and evening bilingual services; the evening service was especially blessed. A lady I had met before at a government office came to church that night, but she has yet to believe on Jesus.
At the KH Park, we had a divine appointment, and I was able to go through the Gospel with a man. It started to rain hard, and everyone ran for cover. I sat in a little tunnel with a man; his daughter was missing an arm. Because of that, I was able to share the Gospel with him. Praise the Lord for different people he brings across our path to show us that God is working, even when we don’t always see it or see the results right away.
I was able to attend the FBMI Missions Mastermind in Thailand. The other missionaries and I were encouraged and received good ideas as well. Thank you to all of those who participated and planned to make it possible.
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support!
