This past Sunday, our church, the Fundamental Baptist Church International, Kumasi, Ghana, celebrated its 15-year anniversary. Our family has been blessed to be a part of the ministry here for 13 of these years. I put together a video to glorify God for what He has done: tinyurl.com/15YearsFBCIKumasi. Thank YOU for your part in the ministry here in Ghana!
Common Faith Families
On the right, you can see some of the families from our adult Sunday school class. Our church had cloth custom made. Our people purchased this cloth and had their own outfits made for this special day.
• Below our family is the Michael Frimpong family. They come from over an hour away on public transportation. Michael leads a prayer meeting for our class, and he leads the singing. He is also leading one of the teams in our church that is raising funds for the renewal of the lease on our church property.
• Next is the Peter Frimpong family. Not pictured is Peter’s wife Alice and their other two children, Benjamin and Ted Sarver. Brother Peter is my convert and our church’s visitation pastor. I greatly enjoy serving the Lord with him.
• Cecilia Krama, Yaa Asantewaa, and Emmanuel Agyapong (from left to right in the anniversary cloth) have all been regular members of our class for many years. Emmanuel is an usher in my class. He and Yaa are brother and sister. The boys are Emmanuel’s sons, Christian (in white) and Gideon.
• In the last picture are Emmanuella Appiah and her mother Grace Mbreye. Grace has faithfully attended our church for over a decade. Emmanuella teaches for our Christian school. She also translates for my wife’s prayer meeting on Sundays and then goes to teach her Sunday school class of young girls.
Please join us in praising God for the power of the Gospel!
