The month of October was a truly special one for our ministry here in Thailand! We rejoice to share that God has been at work in so many wonderful ways. Throughout the month, we saw souls saved, believers baptized, and new visitors begin coming regularly to church. What a blessing it is to see the Lord building His work!
We also had the joy of seeing three individuals complete the first level of our discipleship program, taking exciting steps forward in their spiritual growth. Two of these individuals are Jack and Dton, both young men who serve on staff at our church. We have been meeting on Thursday mornings for the past couple of months and going through the discipleship program together. It’s been encouraging to see their growth. Please pray that they will continue to walk faithfully with the Lord and begin discipling others as well.
Another highlight of the month was our village Bible Clubs. Over 100 people attended, and we praise God that 50 children trusted Christ as their Saviour! What a joy it is to watch young hearts respond to the Gospel message.
Thursday evenings are our regular church-wide soul-winning time. On the last Thursday of the month, we went to a new area I had never been to before. Despite our efforts, we didn’t garner much of a response. Before heading home, I asked the Lord to let me see someone saved. A few minutes later, one of the older ladies in our church called and said she had a young man at her house—a friend of her granddaughter—and asked if I would come talk to him about the Lord. We went to her house as a family, and I gave the Gospel to Oat. He was very receptive, and after about 30 minutes of sharing the Gospel with him, he accepted Christ.
The following Wednesday, he came to church and brought his friend Ja. After the service, I sat down with Ja, and he also sweetly accepted Christ. Praise God that He answers prayer!
Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. Each soul saved and life changed is fruit to your account. We are so grateful to serve the Lord together with you.
Mikey’s Moment
Mikey learned a new song at Bible Club, “Behold, I Stand at the Door and Knock.” He’s got the first two words in Thai down pat! Almost every day, he’ll randomly burst out singing at the top of his lungs: “Doo tert! Doo tert! (‘Behold! Behold!’)”
With hearts full of gratitude,
