The first few months of this year were an exciting and busy time for our family! We were in 18 churches and 7 different states. We also took a survey trip to Thailand! This was the first time Katie Belle had been to Thailand, so it was very special to be there together. We did not want to come back! Over the last 3 months, we have seen 12 souls saved in personal soul winning and many more during services. As of March 31, we are at 54% of our target support goal. God is so good!
Our 2-week trip to Thailand started with spending a Sunday at First Baptist Church of Hua Hin. This is the church my dad started 12 years ago. It was wonderful to see so many friends and loved ones still faithfully serving the Lord. We had several opportunities to go soul winning, and on one of those occasions, Katie Belle got to lead 2 boys to Christ while Miss Shari House translated for her. I was given the privilege of preaching the Gospel in Thai in a village where one of the grandmothers from the church lives. Pastor Shook had told her we were going to come to her village to go soul winning. When we arrived, there was a crowd of almost 30 people waiting. They had all been invited by that one grandmother!
The Thailand Team did an incredible job hosting us while we were there. We were able to participate in the ministry, gather information for our move to Thailand, discuss future plans, and enjoy several exciting “tourist” experiences! We felt very loved and are extremely excited about working with this group of Christian servants.
We were invited to Wick Road Baptist Church’s Missions Conference in Taylor, Michigan. Their church has a unique ministry of putting together John and Romans to send to the mission field. They had recently put together thousands of the same John and Romans we give out during the Christmas programs in Thailand. We got to join them one morning in putting these Bibles together. It was amazing to think about the impact that each of those little booklets could have! We feel privileged to be a part of a small group that gets to see both ends of the process.
Thank you for your support, love, and prayers! May God bless you!
