March and April have been exciting in the Philippines because it’s summertime. The church has been soul winning in an area about 45 minutes away from our city of La Trinidad. This is the place where we plan to start our fifth church. We have been praying for this area because there are hundreds of people living in this suburb, and the population is increasing yearly. A lady in our church has property there, but the property needs to be registered in her name so that it would be legal to start a church on her land. We are praying that God will do a work there. We trust that He will provide whatever is needed so that a church could be started on her property.
While soul winning in this area, one of our Bible college graduates met a man who was renting a room. The man wanted to know about salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord, he called on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Please pray that he will be willing to hold a home Bible study in his boarding house so we can also invite his neighbors to come and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also started a neighborhood children’s class in the area, and about seven children are now attending regularly.
Kelly is a young man of Middle Eastern descent who started coming to our church. He was saved by listening to the Gospel online, but he wanted to find a local New Testament church because he wanted answers from the Bible. He has been faithfully attending for almost four weeks. Please pray that he follows the Lord in baptism and continues to grow in the Lord.
Thank you for your prayers for our safety as we continue to travel during our furlough. We have put almost 35,000 miles on the van that we are leasing. Thank you again for your love and support.
