Marco and Lauretta Hannel Prayer Letter: BlessingsWest Virginia

We had a wonderful trip seeing the beautiful scenery of southern West Virginia. I was able to help work on two buses at Landmark Baptist Church in Parkersburg, West Virginia. We explored a few parks in the area and enjoyed their church service on Sunday morning. We loved the atmosphere of the church, and their spirit was encouraging to be around. We look forward to spending more time with them at their upcoming Missions Conference.

The Bus

God has given us a few weeks at home in Tennessee, which we have used to work on our bus. It has been a challenge to remove all of the walls that were already inside, but it is a joy to see it getting to the point where we can start building our home in it! Pray for us to be able to keep working at it as we can and to see the funds come in for it as well.

VBS

Our home church had its Vacation Bible School at the beginning of August, and we were grateful to be home to be a part of it. I taught the lessons, and we saw four salvation decisions made.

Writing Project

In recent months, God has led us to begin writing a Vacation Bible School curriculum. Our desire is to make it a five-year program that includes Baptist history, basic hymns and bus songs, and the entirety of the Bible. Please pray for us as we endeavor to use this to teach the next generation.

Support Praise

For a few years now, we have been helping another church in our town with their buses, and God opened the door for us to present our ministry there recently. Valley View Baptist Church has wonderful people, and we love seeing a pastor with a heart for his people.
