What a privilege we have at FBMI to serve missionaries! Today, Dr. Mark Bosje, director of FBMI, and I had the wonderful opportunity to hold the preliminary exit interview for Missionary Larae Hoff. Thank you for allowing her to be a part of your church service while she has been on deputation.
As you know, Larae is planning to serve in the children’s ministries with Missionary Ted Speer in Ghana, West Africa. We believe that it would be very reasonable for her to leave in early August. If she were able to leave in early August, it would be good timing for her to be able to help in the Christian school starting in the fall, as there is a great need there for teachers.
As the FBMI Field Services Coordinator for Africa, I am asking that if you have already voted or promised to take her on for financial support that you consider starting to send support at this time. If you already support her, would you prayerfully consider increasing her support so she can get to the field? If you have not yet taken her on for support, she could really use a few more churches to get her to the field. We believe that she is a good eternal investment.
Also, if you are already supporting Larae, would you consider sending an additional love offering or love gift to help her with her transition from Maine to Ghana, as there will be airline expenses, setup costs, and other needs that she will have at this time?
We believe that God has exciting plans for her as she serves alongside Missionary Ted Speer there in Ghana. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this request. May God continue to use you as you serve our Lord Jesus Christ!
For His glory,
Jeremy Snipes
