As I sit in my parents’ living room writing this letter, I have to praise the Lord because He has kept my vehicle safe while traveling. It’s funny; right before a long trip at the beginning of September, I asked the mechanic to do my oil change and to check the brakes to making sure everything was okay. The mechanic laughed and said, “The oil looks brand-new, and your brakes and tires look great.” Thank you so much for your faithful prayers.
It was great to see prayer warriors in Trumansburg, New York, and Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, at the beginning of August. On August 13, I had the opportunity to speak with the members in Indian Lake, New York, about the ministry in Ghana. In North Olmsted, Ohio, on the 20th, I had the privilege of sharing my testimony in Sunday school and my presentation with the congregation. I also spoke with their Junior Church about missions. I talked with the teen classes and members about the ministry in Ghana on August 27 in Marion, Ohio.
In Cleveland, Ohio, while filling up my gas tank, I had the privilege to meet a lady named Lynn. Lynn and I talked about how she could find true peace in Jesus Christ. Lynn accepted Christ as her Saviour, and I was able to give her a John & Romans and devotional book from a previous church and explain to her how reading the Word of God would help with her anxiety. Please pray that Lynn will grow as a Christian.
On September 3, I started in Appomattox, Virginia, where I shared my presentation with the adults in the evening. It was great to hear the many missions questions from their Junior Church and Truth & Training-Awana class. In Fairmount, Georgia, it was great to share my testimony and video with the folks at prayer meeting. On September 10, I had the privilege to share my testimony with the teens in Sunday school and talk with the Junior Church about missions. On Sunday evening, I shared about the ministry in Ghana with the adults in Elkview, West Virginia. It was great to be a part of the Missions Conference in Tupelo, Mississippi, talking with the children and adults. We missionaries talked with their Christian school students in chapel and answered fun questions in their classes. It was a joy to talk with the Junior Church and Kidz Club about missions in Ghana on the 17th. In the morning, I shared my video presentation with the adults in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was great to share my presentation during prayer meeting in Danville, Virginia. On August 24, I had the joy of teaching the beginner class about missions in Flintstone, Georgia. In the evening, I shared with the congregation about the ministry in Ghana. I closed September by visiting family friends and a college friend in Virginia and Georgia.
I will be in New England and various other states for the remainder of fall and the beginning of winter. Would you continue to pray with me that I will have wisdom in filling the gaps in my schedule? Thank you for allowing the Lord to bless my deputation through your prayers and financial giving.
