Jared and Tiffany Stalnaker Prayer Letter: Opportunities GaloreGreetings from the deputation trail! After taking a few weeks to rest and enjoy time with family over the holidays, our 2025 travels began with a flurry—no pun intended. In January, we visited six churches across five states. Though heavy snowfall caused a couple of cancellations, we are thankful for God’s provision and protection. We ended the month at 42% of our needed support.

The Missions Conference at First Baptist Church of Hammond was a standout event in our January meetings. During the conference, we had several opportunities to take part in the church’s ministries, including teaching in the Christian schools, preaching to the Chinese congregation, leading a Sunday school class, speaking in chapel at Hyles-Anderson College, and joining Pastor Wilkerson on the Grace to Grow radio broadcast. Tiffany and I are truly grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this conference and for the many individuals in this ministry who have personally invested in us.

As we travel on deputation and our target departure date for the field draws nearer, our thoughts turn more and more to our future in Nicaragua. We have several prayer requests related to this that we would like to share with you all . . .

• We are in the process of building a home in Nicaragua. Pray for wisdom to know how to best go about this and for guidance in finding the right contractor to do the work.
• Pray for laborers in Nicaragua, especially for Nicaraguan men and their families to partner with us in church planting. Our mission is to establish churches that will be led by national pastors.
• Pray for the departments (states) of Chontales and Atlantico Sur, where we will be serving, and the many communities in this region in need of churches. Pray that God would be working even now in these places to prepare hearts and open doors.
• Pray for Iglesia Bautista Fundamental Macedonia and Pastor Samuel Flores. This is the church and national pastor that we will be partnering with in ministry.
• Pray for wisdom, grace, protection, and strength for our family throughout every stage of our transition to the field.

Thank you for your prayers and support!

Till next time,

Jared, Tiffany, Emerson, and Darcy Stalnaker
