Our deputation trail continues in the month of September. The Lord has been so good to us through these troubled times. He has continued to provide for and bless us. Thank you to our partners for your faithful prayers and support!
Our first meeting in September was with Lewis Avenue Baptist Church of Temperance, Michigan. This church has been a great friend to us throughout the years, and it was great to be with them last month for their Missions Conference. We were spoiled there, and we are thankful for the generosity of God’s people there. It was an honor to share our burden and vision, and it is a great honor to be partnering with them to reach the lost of Australia! Our next meeting brought us to a little town in Michigan called Sparta. We were privileged to present and preach at Camp Lake Baptist Church for their Missions Conference. We were encouraged by the spirit of God’s people there. Through technology, I had the unique opportunity to be in Sparta, Michigan, and also to preach and present at a church in Surrey, British Columbia, on the same day. During this time, the Canadian borders have been closed to “non-essentials,” and our meeting at Grace Baptist Church of Surrey, British Columbia, had to be cancelled. I was able to record a sermon for them and send my presentation video also. After they had shown the videos to the church, we did a live Zoom call for a question-and-answer session with them. We are privileged and honored to be partnering with them for the cause of Christ!
In August, we had the opportunity to present our ministry to Harvest Baptist Church of Daly City, California. Due to restrictions, our meeting had to be cancelled, but we were able to present our ministry digitally, and we got news that they will be partnering with us. Praise the Lord!
Please pray for us as we travel out to the West Coast for some meetings in Washington, California, and Arizona. We do count ourselves honored to see much of the country that many people have not seen and may never get to see. We truly live in a beautiful country! Please continue to pray for our country of America as we approach this year’s election. Churches have all been facing challenges this year, and some have faced even harder trials in certain areas of the country. Continue in prayer! We thank you so much for your continued prayers and support, and we pray that the Lord will continue to bless you and your efforts to advance the Gospel in your “Jerusalem.”
Your servant in Christ,
Garry Tingson
