We continued our deputation trail in the month of September. We started the month with a meeting at Calvary Baptist Church in Paw Paw, Michigan. This was our second visit with this beloved church, and it was just as sweet as the last. The Lord met with us that Sunday!
The following week, we were able to stay close to home again and meet with Victory Baptist Church in Burton, Michigan. I had the privilege to go door knocking with their deacon, Bro. Scott, and I was able to speak to a man named Greg, who was just going through a rough time with deaths of loved ones. I gave him the plan of salvation, and he asked the Lord to save him. His countenance and outlook on life changed! Please pray for this man. We had a great time presenting and preaching at VBC!
The next Wednesday started our Missions Conference for the fall season of 2019. We had the honor of being a part of the Missions Conference at Grace Baptist Church of North Ridgeville, Ohio. It was great to see some old friends and to meet new ones. We had the privilege to go on a tour of Charles Finney’s church and college in Oberlin. It was very educational and inspiring!
After this conference, we found ourselves on a road trip to Hudson, Maine, to be with Hudson Baptist Church. I presented and preached to a sweet congregation of long-time faithful members. Then we traveled to Bath, Maine, to present our ministry and preach at Open Bible Baptist Church. From there we traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to be a part of Shawnee Baptist Church’s Missions Conference. We had a great time there! At least 7 young children trusted Christ as Saviour after I preached in Junior Church. It was encouraging to be in these three churches where men of God my age are doing a great work to keep the churches moving forward for the cause of Christ—I went to college with two of them.
We then had a meeting the next Wednesday at Bible Baptist Church in Covington, Kentucky. To finish off the month, we were a part of the Missions Conference at Bible Baptist Church in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. We had 6 young children trust Christ as their Saviour in Junior Church. There was great fellowship there!
We’ve been busy, and we still have a long road ahead of us. Please continue to pray for our health and traveling mercies. We would like to welcome Loomis Park Baptist Church and Greenville Baptist Church as our newest supporters! Thank you so much for your prayers and for your sacrifice!
Your servant in Christ,
Garry Tingson
