We have some exciting news this quarter, as in the last newsletter we mentioned that we were working on a couple of new studios. We launched a large campaign in Peru using social media, and we are receiving amazing results. The following are the numbers from this past quarter: 1,869 total salvations from social media.
We are scheduled to be in Ghana the month of October to complete their new TV studio. So many exciting things are going on, and we are so blessed to be able to share.
IMPACT OTHERS
We led a group of 17 business people on a trip to visit one of our partners in Mexico in July. They were able to witness firsthand the amazing work that this ministry is doing for the Lord. It also opened the hearts of the business people in a way that no one could imagine. Here is one testimony from that group:
It’s nearly impossible to explain the immediate feeling you have when you are standing in front of children in such need. No television program or news story could convey the transformative experience of being face to face with them . . . to go in person and see the environment, talk to the children, see where they play, it’s something you can’t “unsee.” For me, it is the totality of the life they are living that has forever changed me. Children who are dealing with big issues – housing, food, education – but they are so young, they don’t even realize how tough and resilient they are! Because this is their “normal” – and that alone is hard to believe – it was gratifying to work on the coffee cart and contribute tangibly to support what will be a sustainable business that can and will change their lives forever. In the same way, this trip changed my life forever. What I used to think when I saw these situations on television was sadness and despair – now I see opportunity, hope, and a belief that each person can have an impact . . . and hopefully, a ripple effect on others. – Julie Williams/Denver, Colorado
NIGERIA
We have seen many exciting things this quarter in Nigeria! We have added another language to the programs that we air on national TV.
We also installed a water borehole in the capital that will supply clean water to over 100,000 people. This was a huge blessing for the Mark Holmes ministry in Nigeria.
Another really exciting piece of news for Nigeria is that a Widows Ministry was started, and we had close to 250 widows in attendance. Pastor Aderiye Adedayo preached a message about hope. We saw 3 first-time visitors who were not widows. We had 14 people saved!
