Dave and Mary Beth Solt Prayer Letter: Back to the WorkHello, everyone. It has been a busy three months since arriving back from the care of my mother. She is doing well and back to her life in Arizona. Thank you for your prayers. So far for this year, we have had 72 salvation decisions and 86 first-time visitors in church. The church calendar seems to roll on from activity to activity. August included Ice Cream Sunday, and in September, we held our annual Junior Church Family Field Day at a local park. Another annual event was a huge Coffee Morning fundraiser for cancer support. These special events open hearts and knit the believers together in fellowship. It has been busy, but a blessing!

We also keep busy witnessing and discipling new believers. The church is growing, with new people visiting practically every week. We are seeing people return whom we have not seen for a long time. One man named Graham, whom we had not seen for several years, walked in on a Sunday night three weeks ago. We have also welcomed back some of the university students. God is dealing with lives, and it is personally great having longevity in this area. In January, it will be over 14 years since we came to the city of Preston. Much has changed, and some situations are difficult, but through difficulties come questions and then understanding the need for salvation in Christ. We are so glad we are to help point people to Jesus! Thank you for the opportunity that you provide through prayer and financial help!

Baptism Blessings

It was a particular blessing to baptize two ladies recently. One of the ladies is a local to Preston, whom God has been working to transform. The other, Navya, has come to the UK from India to work as a nurse in the hospital. Her story is quite special. Though from a Catholic background, through the influence of strong Christians in India and under the preaching here at Wycliffe throughout the past year, she has come to understand salvation. Her baptism was precious as she breaks from tradition and walks into her future with Christ.

Solt Family Blessings

The Lord has provided support for Daniel and Rachel to begin their ministry life here in the UK in 2025. Please look at their latest update video. Our special thanks to the many churches and friends who are investing in the next generation of missionaries to England. Meanwhile, Josh continues to live his faith in his jobs and church service in Des Moines. Jeremy and Ashley are serving together in the church in Woburn, Massachusetts.

Prayer Updates: (1) Pray for Daniel’s family for health, protection, and wisdom. (2) Pray for the little two-year-old who is recovering from his stroke with further therapy. (3) We are hearing good news regarding our man in the reform program. (4) We are praying for God to bless the USA!

Yours for souls,
