“Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh
in a perfect way, he shall serve me.” (Psalm 101:6)
This past year, we’ve had the opportunity to be with and get to know so many faithful people. We’ve been encouraged and, I hope, been an encouragement to some of these faithful people. As I read this verse in Psalms this week, I was reminded that God’s eyes are upon those who are faithful. It does not matter if there is anyone else watching, we can rest assured that the God of Heaven has His eyes on us!
We are so thankful for the wonderful year that God gave us in 2019! We are thankful for the safety that we had in traveling, the meetings that He allowed us to schedule, the birth of Ezekiel, and so much more. We traveled about 36,000 miles, visited about 70 churches, and got to go to Nigeria for 3 weeks! We were able to meet many wonderful people and see many incredible things! God is working in a marvelous way all around world, and we are grateful to get to be a tiny part of that! God is good!
In the month of December, we were able to present the ministry in four churches, two in Wisconsin and two in Iowa. The last two weeks of the month, we spent time with family, both in Wisconsin and in Michigan. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I’m so grateful that God, in His sovereignty, sent His only Son to a depraved world to be the only acceptable sacrifice for sin! I’m thankful that I get to go to Heaven when I die.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support! For the coming year, we ask that you’d pray for our schedule to fill up, for safety in traveling, for souls to be saved, and that, ultimately, God would be glorified. Please continue to pray for the work that is already being done in Nigeria. We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
