“And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”
(I Timothy 1:14)
In this verse, Paul is thanking God for using him. He recounts how, before he got saved, he was the worst of sinners. After he got saved, despite Paul’s sin, God used him in an incredible way! I’m grateful that, despite what I once was, God will use me!
At the beginning of May, we started traveling again. Due to the virus, we were at home in Muncie for about seven weeks. We greatly enjoyed getting to spend time together as a family and getting to help with different projects at the church. Among other things, we were able to help set up the livestream and paint our church’s auditorium. When your brother is your pastor, there is always something to do at the church!
While at home in Muncie, I had the opportunity to show a young man how he could be saved! I met Chris as he took shelter under an overhang at our church in the pouring rain. After talking with him for quite a while, he understood that he was a sinner and that he needed a Saviour! Though there have been some doors of opportunity closed in the last couple of months, I believe that God is opening others; we just need to go through them!
In May, God gave us great meetings with churches in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Indiana. As always, we were blown away by the generosity of God’s people. Though we can’t wait to get to Nigeria, we are excited about being in God’s will right here in the USA!
We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
Daniel, Erin, and Ezekiel
