Friends! Thank you for your continued love and prayers! God has opened up so many doors this month, further confirming His calling on our lives! What a mighty God we serve!
We started off this month by relinquishing our final responsibilities at FBC Hammond. For the past three years, I have been serving as Junior Church Superintendent for inner-city bus children. That task has now been handed off to a good friend of ours, and we said our goodbyes. Thank you, Bro. Francis, for entrusting us with this department! We loved our kids and fellow workers but are excited for what God has planned for the future!
Mid-August, we made a quick Saturday stop at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church to serve in their Overcomer Burmese Ministry. Over 160 young people were in attendance! I was given the opportunity to preach, and five children accepted Christ’s gift of salvation! Praise the Lord for the vision of Timothy Cangmah and GBBC!
We finished up August in Wilson, North Carolina, with Pastor Shakour and Tabernacle Baptist Church for their Missions Conference! We enjoyed every minute spent with those sweet people. Graciously, they asked me to preach to the middle-school chapel, with over 300 young people, and teach the Young Adult Sunday School Class. Throughout the week of the conference, we witnessed to a total of seven people during Friday night street preaching and Saturday outreach. Thank you once again, TBC, for your kindness to us!
Throughout August, we have been able to share the entire Gospel with 12 people! One story I would like to share is Justin’s. I met a young man named Justin at the park during a church outing. While presenting the Gospel to him, he stopped me and said, “So the entire reason you are here is to tell me about this?” Shortly afterwards, he bowed his head and trusted Christ. Praise God for divine appointments!
Solt Family Update (SOLT: Serving Our Lord Together):
Our sweet Ruby has decided that crawling is not good enough for her anymore. Crawling is “out,” and climbing is “in.” Everywhere she goes, she wants to climb and grab! What an adventure parenting is, and we would not have it any other way.
Rachel has been slowly packing up the house for our full-time transition. I am thankful for a wife who is willing to give up so much out of her love for the Lord. Thank you once again, our friends, for your love, prayers, and support!
Prayer Requests
• God’s wisdom as we book meetings (March through June 2023 especially)
• Protection as we travel
• That we would be given opportunities to see souls saved
• Wisdom as we look into Rachel’s visa and Ruby’s British citizenship
God bless,
Daniel, Rachel, and Ruby
