The beginning of January felt like we were going through an exciting rocket launch, with much activity occurring all at once. Praise the Lord for the many open doors that we have been given to minister to God’s people. We were able to spend the first Wednesday with Riverview Baptist Church in Pasco, Washington. Pastor Paisley was an amazing host, and we were given many opportunities to minister to the church, radio, and school. The next day, Thursday, we presented our ministry at Open Door Baptist Church in Kent, Washington. God has blessed Pastor Byram with some of the sweetest people from many international backgrounds.
The next stop was Bethel Baptist Church in Salem, Oregon, pastored by Brandon Hardy. We enjoyed spending the entirety of Sunday with them, and we were encouraged by their ministry vision for 2024. It was truly a refreshing time! We then experienced three more incredible meetings in Western Montana (see attached pictures). God gave us safety throughout the extreme cold snap and winter snowstorms that hammered that region. Thank you for praying!
After a month spent in the West, we flew back to Chicago to be in our sending church’s Missions Conference, First Baptist Church of Hammond. What a memorable time it was! Before the conference started, I was questioned in front of an ordination council, led by Pastor Wilkerson. The following day, during the Sunday evening service, I was ordained into the Gospel ministry. God be praised!
“The World’s Cry” was the theme of FBC’s Missions Conference! We loved fellowshipping with God’s people at the main church campus, Christian schools, and Hyles-Anderson College. We felt loved and encouraged by their many acts of kindness. The busy month concluded with our friends at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan, for their Missions Conference. Pastor Pallini and the church family went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and involved.
Soul Report
Along with passing out tracts, we had the joy to present the Gospel to two souls. While our whole family was out door knocking in Grand Rapids, we met a man named Kyle and his four-year-old son. Kyle had a strong Lutheran background and sadly told me that due to his attendance at the Lutheran church, he had a right to Heaven. I’m grateful he listened to the complete Gospel presentation and expressed intent to study his Bible further. Please pray for his salvation!
Family Update
God is so good! We praise Him for the four new churches that have partnered with us and for a busy spring with meetings and conferences! Our family’s health is stable, and our car is still clicking along. Thank you for your faithfulness to fulfill Acts 1:8 in your local regions and beyond! We are humbled by your partnership with us and covet your continued prayers.
Ruby’s Adventures
Ruby is now able to attend two-year-old Sunday school class and nursery. She loves to bring her little Bible, be involved in the singing, and make new little friends along the way!
