It’s a great joy to report to you once again on what God is doing through our travels! We are so thankful for your prayers and support and for the many birthday cards that were sent to Rachel last month! Continuing through our travels, we began the month at Northwest Bible Baptist Church in Elgin, Illinois, for their annual Missions Conference. We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the church family and college students. Following that conference, we spent the next Sunday with Pastor Hubbard and Gospel Baptist Church in Little Hocking, Ohio. Both churches have been faithful supporters of my parents for decades, and it was a joy to meet them and thank them for their faithfulness.
Leaving the Midwest for the Southern part of the country, we made our way to Columbus, Georgia, to be with Grace Baptist Church for their conference. We loved being involved with the school, the teen group, and the rest of the church family. An extra highlight was the opportunity to assist in assembling 36,000 John and Romans that were to be sent to the Philippines. Our next stop was at Pine Valley Baptist Church in Hiram, Georgia, where I had the privilege to speak to their Bible college class and preach their Wednesday night service. How God put this meeting together, along with the fine details, was amazing!
We finished out the month at Temple Baptist Church in Manchester, Tennessee. It was an honor to be a part of their Missions Conference, and God gave us a sweet time with the church and school. This was our 100th church where we have had the humbling privilege to present our ministry! God be praised for His provision and direction!
Soul Report
This month, we had the opportunity to witness to four people, with three accepting Christ. I was out with Bro. Corbin knocking apartments in Shelbyville, Tennessee, when I met Robbie, a factory worker who clocks in 60-plus hours a week and usually would not be found at home on a Saturday. But God knew His schedule, and I am so glad that Robbie listened and accepted Christ. We gave him a Bible. Please pray that he will make his way to church with his family.
Family Update
The general flu struck our family again and has taken a hard toll on Rachel. We covet your prayers for healing and protection. God continues to add to our support, with four more churches adding us to their team. We are also seeing some doors open with the immigration process; and, Lord willing, I’ll be able to have some good news in that area next month. Our travels continue here in the South, with meetings in Texas, Louisiana, and Missouri. God is good!
Thank you for your partnership. We are praying for you as you enter the Easter season with special events planned to reach your community with the Gospel. The harvest is white!
Ruby’s Adventures
Praise the Lord for warm, sunny, Southern weather (sorry, Northern friends)! Ruby has so enjoyed getting out in the sunshine and playing in the toddler playgrounds we have come across. Swinging, sliding, and climbing at them is something Ruby looks forward to—she loves to chatter about going back to the park.
Prayer Requests
1. Opportunities to present the Gospel
2. Wisdom for when to start Rachel and Ruby’s visa applications
3. Safety as we travel
May our lives glorify Christ,
Daniel, Rachel, and Ruby Solt
