Africa
August brought a trip to Ghana for their 12th Annual Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference. It was a joy to speak in the church where the missions team serves under Pastor Ted Speer (evening service pictured). During the weeklong conference, I taught sessions for staff members and laymen, and on Saturday we went soul winning. After a two-hour presentation of the Gospel, the man in the striped shirt finally understood the Gospel and trusted Christ. On the second Sunday, it was a blessing to preach for a church being planted across the city in Asawasi. Please pray for Team Ghana and the churches.
America
September brought a Missions Conference in Maine and then time to catch up on FBMI and family needs before leaving for this trip out West. At each meeting, God has blessed with souls being saved, folks surrendering to serve God, and Faith Promise commitments increasing. Please pray for God’s blessings on the faithful pastors and churches of America.
Africa Again
In less than two weeks, I’ll be traveling with our son Tom and a contractor friend to the remote country of Namibia to visit and serve FBMI missionaries Tom and Margo Dinius. They have served faithfully for 18 years, and we’ll be their third visitors from the USA. Please pray for journey mercies, for safety, and for God’s direction and blessing on what He would have us to accomplish.
Always About the Great Commission
We’ve seen God bless with souls saved while knocking doors, but He did something special this week. At a coffee shop, a young man asked if I’d participate in a survey. After we finished, the Lord allowed me to turn the conversation to spiritual things, and Mike trusted Christ as his Saviour. Inviting him to the church there, we spent extra time discussing his next steps. Please pray for Mike’s spiritual growth and that God would use him greatly.
