Thank you very much for praying for the summer evangelistic campaign in the large farm town of Yurécuaro, Michoacán, Mexico. It is amazing what the Lord can do when we all work together! All of the glory belongs to God!!
He gave us a great team of workers this summer. They were all great workers! There were over twenty workers altogether. Some were with us for the entire nine weeks; others were there for four to five weeks. The Avance Misionero ministry in Dr. Ramos’ church came with six workers for two weeks. The Lord also gave us great training sessions and prayer meetings for six weeks before we started. Dr. Ramos’ leadership is also a big reason why things went so well. Viry not only cooked all of the wonderful meals, but she is the best soul winner I have ever known. The most important ingredient in all of this was your prayers. It is amazing what God can do when we all work together! All of the glory belongs to God!!
When we came on June 3, there were 5 family units attending the new church. At the end of the 9-week campaign, there were 20-25 family units attending the church at least once a week. Many of them are attending at least twice a week, and some are attending three times a week. One family is going soul winning with us once a week. In the first weeks, it was mostly soul winning and not much discipleship. In the last weeks, it was mostly discipleship and less soul winning. The total number of souls saved in our personal soul winning was 1,150. The Lord gave us 214 first-time visitors in the church. No special promotions were used. The focus in the last weeks was on establishing in the faith those who had made decisions. There were many children in the area, so the Lord also led us to do a Bible Club for them on Saturday evenings. Many parents also came out for the Bible Clubs. There was an average attendance of over 100 for each Bible Club, with many decisions made for Christ.
The Lord is leading Viry and me to spend an extra month in Yurécuaro, as the pastor is overwhelmed with contacts, visits, and discipleship. In the middle of September, the Lord is leading us to help a new church plant in another part of Mexico.

Muchas gracias por orar por la campaña evangelística de verano en un gran pueblo agrícola en México. (Yurécuaro, Michoacan). ¡Es asombroso lo que el Señor puede hacer cuando todos trabajamos juntos! Toda la gloria pertenece a Dios!!
Nos dio un gran equipo de trabajadores este verano. Obreros maravillosos! Había más de 20 trabajadores en total. Algunos estuvieron con nosotros durante las 9 semanas completas; otros estuvieron allí durante 4-5 semanas. 2 vinieron una sola semana. El ministerio de Avance Misionero en la iglesia del Dr. Ramos vino con 6 obreros durante 2 semanas. El Señor también nos dio excelentes sesiones de entrenamiento y reuniones de oración durante 6 semanas antes de que comenzáramos. El liderazgo del Dr. Ramos también es otro gran porque. Viry no solo cocinó todas las comidas maravillosas, sino que es la mejor ganadora de almas que he conocido. El ingrediente más importante en todo esto era sus oraciónes. ¡Es asombroso lo que Dios puede hacer cuando todos trabajamos juntos!
Cuando llegamos el 3 de junio, había 5 unidades familiares asistiendo a la nueva iglesia. Al final de la campaña de 9 semanas hay entre 20-25 unidades familiares que asisten a la iglesia al menos una vez por semana, muchas de ellas asisten al menos dos veces por semana y algunas tres veces. Una familia va a ganar almas con nosotros una vez a la semana. En las primeras semanas fue principalmente ganar almas y no mucho discipulado. En las últimas semanas fueron principalmente discipulados y menos ganar almas. El total de almas salvas en nuestra ganancia personal de almas fue de 1.150. En las primeras semanas hubo mucho ganar almas y poco discipulados. En las ultimas semanas hubo muchos discipulados y menos ganar almas. El enfoque en las últimas semanas fue establecer en la fe a aquellos que habían tomado decisiones. Había muchos niños en la zona, así que el Señor también nos llevó a hacer un Club Bíblico los sábados por la noche para los niños. Muchos padres también acudieron a los Clubes Bíblicos. Hubo una asistencia promedio de más de 100 personas para cada Club Bíblico también con muchas decisiones para Cristo.
El Señor nos está guiando a Viry y a mí a pasar un mes más en Yurécuaro, ya que el pastor está abrumado con contactos, visitas y discipulados. A mediados de septiembre, el Señor nos está guiando para ayudar a plantar una nueva iglesia en otra parte de México.
