August and September were exciting months, with various ministry opportunities. We were able to travel as a family to Cebu for a missions conference, where we saw Pastor and Mrs. Wilkerson and many of the Filipino missionaries we have been supporting for the past 13 years. AWBM recently started supporting 3 Laotian pastors and is trying to get discipleship lessons translated for them.
In August we presented the Teaching All Nations program to hundreds of pastors and also introduced the Foundations of Faith discipleship lessons to preachers on Mindanao at various meetings. We are now visiting those pastors to help set up their Bible colleges and use these materials. Please pray about helping us with travel and duplication and printing costs.
We also had the unique privilege of speaking at three different local police stations to some of General Santos City’s finest. From that came the opportunity to speak to over 300 recruits and officers at their Region 12 Training Center. Over half of those men and ladies received Christ as their Saviour.
Please pray for us as we finalize plans for our Annual AWBM Conference in Bacolod City the week of January 17, 2016. That is always the highlight each year for the folks at Gospel Baptist Church, who, incidentally, just celebrated their 13th church anniversary.
