Family Update
We are currently in Florida, and Lindsey is continuing to see her functional-medicine doctor here each week. Tests show that she has Hashimoto’s disease (an autoimmune disease affecting the thyroid). She is taking supplements and is on a restrictive diet. We are thankful that her gallstones have not been causing her pain.
We were able to spend a few weeks in Minnesota with my family, and we spent Thanksgiving with them. Time always goes by too fast when we are together! We are glad to have the opportunity to be with Lindsey’s family for Christmas. It has been 11 years since we have been in the USA during Christmas. We plan to return to Ghana on January 12.
Praises and Prayer Requests
Recently one of our staff men in Ghana started a soul-winning ministry at a university in Kumasi. In early October, I joined this ministry for a few weeks. I was able to meet a young man named Luther. I found out he was already saved, but he attends a Charismatic church. He was very teachable as I shared truth with him about speaking in tongues and the doctrine of eternal security. He came soul winning with me the following Saturday and said he wants to join our soul-winning ministry at his university. He has a desire to preach the Gospel. Please pray for Luther to grow in the Lord and that our ministry will be able to help him understand true Bible doctrine.
Since arriving in the USA in late October, I have had the opportunity to preach in several churches. It has been such a blessing to help encourage many fellow Christians here as they serve the Lord.
Last Saturday I was able to share the Gospel with a young man named Brandon. He listened well, but he had to leave before I could lead him to make the decision to believe on Christ. Please pray for Brandon to be saved.
We praise the Lord for His clear direction to this point regarding Lindsey’s health. Please pray that God would continue to guide us in this area. Please pray that God would give healing to Lindsey.
We hope you, your families, and your churches all have a great Christmas!
In Christ,
Charles, Lindsey, and Josiah Osgood
