Andres Amoros Prayer Letter: Youth Conference and Marathon 2016!Grace, mercy, and the peace of God our Father and Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord be unto you. Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year are my most sincere wishes.

My wife and I thank God for the opportunity to communicate with you and to share with you the progress of the Lord’s work here in the Dominican Republic. The months of October and November have been months where the rain has not stopped, the southwest part of the island is flooded with water. There are several dead and thousands of victims due to the storm.

As we informed you in our previous letter, we were preparing in prayer to celebrate our Youth Conference. To the Lord be the glory, we had a good attendance; and although the preachers did not preach evangelistic subjects, every night there were young people saved, including Jesus and Sai, two neighbors whom I invited to the conference.

Our 2016 Marathon, which we always celebrate during the month of November as part of the Fall Program and the church’s anniversary, was literally celebrated under water; the rains did not cease throughout the month. Despite that, we had 128 people saved and several baptized. On the big day, we baptized Immanuel, Angel, and Daniel, whom I had the privilege of personally earning for Christ. I glorify the Lord for what He can do. Despite the storms, the people did not stop coming to church, and the brothers were faithful working for the Lord.

Pastor Luis Martínez, from the Fundamental Baptist Church of Ceiba in Puerto Rico, came with his children. He has already preached to us on other anniversaries. Our church always enjoy him. Every time the Word was preached, the altar was filled with the brothers making vows of consecration to the Lord. To God be the glory always.

Again, I wish for you that this Christmas Season would be full of spiritual rejoicing for the ineffable gift of God to humanity, Who is Jesus Christ our glorious Lord and Saviour. To Him be the glory today and forever. Amen!

Andres Amoros Prayer Letter: Youth Conference and Marathon 2016!Gracia, misericordia, y paz de Dios nuestro Padre y de Jesucristo nuestro Salvador y Señor. Feliz Navidad y un Próspero Año Nuevo, son mis más sinceros deseos.

Mi esposa y yo damos gracias a Dios por la oportunidad de comunicarnos con ustedes, y hacerles participe del progreso de la obra del Señor aquí en La Republica Dominicana. Los meses de Octubre y Noviembre, han sido unos meses donde la lluvia no ha cesado, la parte Sur-Oeste de la isla esta anegada en agua; hay varios muertos y miles de damnificados debido a las vaguadas que se han producido.

Como les informamos en nuestra carta anterior, estábamos preparándonos en oración para celebrar nuestra conferencia de jóvenes, al Señor la gloria tuvimos una buena asistencia y aunque los predicadores no predicaron temas evangelisticos, cada noche hubo jóvenes salvos, incluyendo a Jesús y Sai, dos vecinos los cuales yo invite a la conferencia.

Nuestro Maratón 2016, el cual siempre celebramos el mes de Noviembre, incluye el programa de Otoño, y el aniversario de nuestra iglesia, fue literalmente celebrado bajo agua, las lluvias no cesaron durante todo el mes, a pesar de eso tuvimos 128 personas salvas y varios bautizados, entre los cuales estaban Emanuel, Ángel y Daniel, los cuales yo tuve el privilegio de ganarlos personalmente para Cristo. Yo glorifico al Señor por lo que Él puede hacer, porque en medio de las vaguadas que todavía tenemos las gentes no dejaron de ir a la iglesia y los hermanos fueron fieles trabajando para su Señor.

El Pastor Luis Martínez, de la iglesia Bautista Fundamental de Ceiba en Puerto Rico, vino con sus hijos. Varias veces ya nos ha predicado en otros aniversarios, los hermanos siempre se gozan cuando lo invito; cada vez que la palabra fue predicada el altar estuvo lleno de los hermanos haciendo votos de consagración al Señor. A Dios sea la Gloria siempre.

De nuevo les deseo que este tiempo de navidad sea de alegría y de regocijo espiritual por el don inefable de Dios a la humanidad; el cual es Jesucristo nuestro glorioso Señor y salvador. A Él sea la Gloria hoy y siempre, Amen!
