Chad and Sarah Inman Prayer Letter: Let Us Run with PatienceOur rented house sits on the side of a small mountain where the trees and plants grow ever so fast during rainy season. Different birds migrate in and out. The dwelling is unsealed enough to hear them during most of the day. A new sound means a new bird, grabbing our attention, followed by research. We’ve been in Hua Hin for over twelve years now (Bangkok for the other four), and new types of birds are still arriving. These exotic creatures are another of the constant reminders of God’s abundant blessings and presence as we serve in this beautiful land. Thank you for praying for us and the ministries here. September has seen steady growth in church members, workers, and staff. Both churches, as unique as they are, have had victories, big and small. Faithful consistency of working for and in the Lord has been the goal with purpose and resolve.

Wednesday Nights

Preaching and teaching every Wednesday night in Hua Hin has been an enjoyable journey. We are reviewing and learning many Biblical standards that God puts forth in the Bible. Many of the members understand these truths but are hearing exactly what God says in His Word, where He says it, and, of course, the why of its importance. Traits or characteristics of a strong, growing Christian find root in our joy and desire to please and serve God. We learn together and figure out why so many worldly trends and popularity paths are doorways to downward Christianity. I’m excited about these teachings, as they never get old. With wisdom, we can take heed and understand the long-term implications of the paths we choose.

September Activity for the Youth

We enjoy running activities for our young people. This latest activity included a knowledge contest on the book of Ephesians. The kids studied in advance and competed to answer many questions. Every young person was trying hard, and they all were able to answer a question at some point as others “quizzed out.” The activity also included ping pong games, a push-up contest, best blindfolded drawings, and preaching. Good eating, fellowship, and encouragement were all happening that day. Pong, Star, and I were all involved in the different aspects of the event. Please continue to pray for the youth in both churches; pray that God would grow them with a great desire to serve God, taking leadership roles to reach Thailand. Many of our teens were not well on this day, so Pong wisely brought some of our “almost teens” who really wanted to come. They loved it and look forward to being a teenager.

Gospel Giving

Through faithful soul winning and visiting of our member areas, 26 precious souls were saved by God’s power and grace. Another mysterious travel down a hidden dirt road in the pineapple fields led us to two different salvation experiences. The first, Peerapong, was working behind a wall of grass where we could hear him but couldn’t see him. After a little talking, he came out of the thickets and openly wanted to hear and understand how God could save him. The next, Saksaymoonwaan, was also in a very distant pineapple field with other nearby workers. (Here are the map coordinates: https://maps.app.goo.gl/KWSJU2D22aZ3B1Jr8.) She believed in God, but salvation and eternal security were both new truths that she had never heard before. Both of these individuals want to come to church and desire to have their own copy of the Word of God. Please pray for them and the others who have been saved, new to God’s family, in their growth, decisions, and protections.

Future Events

Please pray for our preparations for the upcoming Village Bible Clubs program that will take place in late October. We are targeting five different Bible Club locations, reaching many and involving many to conduct the programs. In November and December, please pray for the public-school Christmas programs. We will cap these events with “big day” Christmas events at both churches.

2025 Fall Furlough

Through prayerful guidance, we will be taking a furlough in the fall of 2025. September and October 2025 will see us in the Eastern half of the U.S. November and possibly December will see us in the Western half of the U.S., returning home to Thailand in early 2026. We hope to update many of our supporting churches and, with God’s help, gain partnerships with a handful of new churches. With humble thankfulness, a vehicle is waiting for us, and seven meetings are set (five new and two supporting). We would be blessed to come, reunite, and encourage church families in all that God has done and is doing here. Your prayers, support, and encouragement through the years have helped make it all happen. Thank you!

Grateful to serve,

Bro. Chad Inman
