During September, we had our National Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference. Each year, our goal is to encourage the pastors and leaders to go forward and reach their city for Christ. This year, we had the conference in September, and we had lot more cool weather. The uniqueness about this conference is that we had all of our national pastors present, and they preached all the messages and classes. It was a challenge to get them to work together, but it was a tremendous success. It was our best conference to date!
Just a few weeks back, I found out that a building next to the church is up for sale. It is a former dance hall. The owners want to sell the building. Just recently, I was able to go into the building to see the construction inside. It has a capacity of up to 300 people, including the first floor and the balcony. It is already set up like a church auditorium.
I have been talking to the owners, and in the next few weeks, I will look into the paperwork and see how much the building is worth. The owners already gave me the amount they want for the building. The building is dirty. It needs lots of paint. The roof leaks, so it needs repairing, etc. I’m praying and asking for God’s leading.
Our present auditorium is full to capacity almost every week. We need more classroom space and more room to expand our outreach. Would you please pray with me about this building? I have not made any commitments or any definite decisions as of today. I am just asking you to pray that God will make His will known to us. We want to live by faith!
