“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy.” (Philippians 1:3-4)
We traveled 4,800 miles in November, presenting our work in 5 different churches. God has been so gracious to give us safe travel. I seem to be at the stage where I need more repairs on my body than on my car!
I preached for Pastor Greg Ogle at Calvary Baptist Church in Canton, Illinois, and for Pastor Robert Barnett in Knoxville, Tennessee. What a blessing it is when churches are excited about the work of missions.
I was honored to take part in the Homegoing service of our former pastor, Don Brodhacker, in Palmyra, Missiouri. Pastor Brodhacker was the man who first introduced me to fundamentalism and old-fashioned preaching.
We spent a Sunday preaching for Pastor Curtis Hall and fellowshipping with his fine folks at Maranatha Baptist Church in Newburgh, Indiana. Pastor Hall has been a tremendous blessing in helping to raise funds for printing the Word of God for Southeast Asia.
We drove to Durham, North Carolina, to preach a missions revival for Pastor Scott Gray at Liberty Baptist Church. We’ve known Pastor Gray since he was 12 years old, and we praise God that he has stayed true to the Gospel and to the Lord. He has been pastor there for 2 years and is doing a wonderful job in leading his church to give to Faith Promise Missions.
I was privileged to speak to the fifth grade Junior Department at First Baptist Church in Hammond about the great need for the Word of God around the world. I was excited about the enthusiasm the young people have about missions.
Thank you for all your help in reaching Southeast Asia. We love you.
Into all the world,
Brother Bowen
