“I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 1:4) During the month of October, we were privileged to see 9 come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and 3 of them followed the Lord in believer’s baptism.
God allowed me to present our ministry to Southeast Asia in 6 different churches, and I attended 4 different conferences. I traveled over 4,000 miles again with the Lord’s protection and mercy.
October 19 will be a date that will forever be part of history for my wife and me. Three years ago in 2011, the great flood of Thailand destroyed everything we owned—our Bible warehouse, our home, and the new truck that God had given us to deliver Bibles and haul kids to church. Our belongings sat in 7 feet of flood water for nearly 2 months. The flood affected the lives of 30 million Thai people and put the work being done for the Lord in Southeast Asia to a halt. The Devil knows how to put a monkey wrench in the works! During those days I claimed Job 1:21, “The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord.” I realized we had not lost anything that could not be replaced. Today First Baptist Church of Nawong is going strong once again with Eddie Arrold as pastor! Praise the Lord! Team Thailand has a good work established again in South Thailand under the leadership of Pastor Tim Shook. The Devil lost again!
Please continue to pray for the shipment of Bibles (54,000 Scriptures) being sent to Northeast India. There is no word on its arrival date yet. Please pray for the safe arrival and that it will be free of much governmental red tape and high tax charges.
I covet your prayers as I return to Thailand on November 18 to start a new program, Teaching All Nations. My goal is to introduce TAN to 8 churches in 3 different nations. It is the utmost importance that national pastors begin training their own men to go out to reach their own nation with the Gospel. Enclosed is information about TAN for you to read.
Also enclosed is our 2014 report of B.E.S.T. (Bible Education Services of Thailand). God continues to open doors to reach people of Southeast Asia, but we must continue to supply Scriptures for those who have never seen a copy of the Word of God in their language. If a man in Southeast Asia goes to Hell, let him go to Hell holding a copy of God’s Word in his hand.
The work God has called us to do could not be possible without the help of good people like you. We love you and thank God for your faithfulness to pray and to give.
