“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” (Matthew 28:6)
Don’t you know that this verse gives the Devil a big old headache every time he sees it in the Bible?! Thank God for Easter Sunday! Thank God for the Resurrection!
On March 8, the men at Crossroads Baptist Church in Girard, Kansas, loaded the 42nd container of Scriptures for BEST Missions. We are very thankful to Bro. Sam Martin of World Missions Bearing Precious Seed for coordinating this container. Many hands make light work! Thank God for all the folks who provided the much-needed manpower to get this container loaded.
Please be in prayer for our upcoming Central Regional BEST Missions Bible Conference, May 19-21, 2024, at Landmark Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana. I know it would be blessing to you and your people if you could attend.
Please remember BEST Missions National Conference, September 2 & 3, 2024, at Colonial Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas. As usual, we begin the conference on Labor Day every year at suppertime. You will hear some of the best preaching you will ever hear on getting the Scriptures into the hands of those who do not have it.
If you cannot attend either of these two conferences, please pray. We need your help to continue supplying the Word of God to those who have no Bible!
During the first week of April, we drove to Mesquite, Texas, to attend the Baptist Leadership Conference at Parkside Baptist Church. I was privileged to preach at the East Texas Baptist Fellowship again this year. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with other men of God.
I was able to attend and preach the dedication of a new church building at Bible Baptist Church in Spanish Fort, Alabama. My good friend, Pastor Richard Ullo, and his church had built a beautiful new building that seated 280. What a blessing it was to have to set up chairs for the first service in the new building. He even had the mayor and a councilman there. Pastor Ullo started the new building off right, with folks saved and several baptized.
I preached Sunday morning, April 28, at Victory Baptist Church in Longview, Texas, as part of their Missions Emphasis. What a blessing Pastor Bob Page was to us.
May we never forget what the Lord did for us. Thank God! He is still not in the grave.
Into all the world,
Bob Bowen
