Dear Pastor and Friends,
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zechariah 4:6) Here in Zechariah is a sobering reminder of our absolute need to continue depending upon the power of the Holy Spirit to achieve anything that brings glory and honor to the Lord. Such was the victory realized in the life of Bill, a man who had been searching for the truth. He heard the Gospel as I showed him how to be saved, and he was more than excited to receive Christ as His Saviour.
Prayer Points:
• Pray that Adam (a retired SAS soldier) and Leanne (a single lady) would get saved and come to church. Neighbors to each other, both were more than happy to be challenged with the Gospel and think seriously about the decision that needs to be made. Please also pray that follow-up with them will be fruitful. It was plain enough that the Lord led us to meet both of them within literally minutes of each other.
• Pray that Laura gets relief from a knee problem; she sees an orthopedic doctor within a few weeks.
• Pray that Pastor Westbrook would be healed from acute vestibular neuronitis. He is slowly improving.
Although we have to wait until we get to Heaven to see the full result of this ministry, thank you again for your investment in the work here at Coastline Baptist Church. In practical terms, it would not be possible otherwise.
