“Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth.” (Psalm 57:11). As we see God at work in the lives of people in the church, we cannot help but exalt the Lord and give Him the glory.
The Lord continues to bring visitors to Coastline Independent Baptist Church. Phil and Rachel are a young couple who visited a few months ago. They live over an hour away, but they attend as often as they can. A young lady named Louise has been coming for several weeks. She had not been in church before and was not sure what to expect. She hesitantly accepted the invitation to come for a visit, and by her own testimony, she was pleasantly surprised at how kind and friendly the church folk are. She is not saved yet, but she asked us to continue to pray for her and her father to believe.
John and Minh visited the church recently and are faithfully attending all of the services. They are both growing in the Lord and are a great blessing with their sweet spirits. Both have gotten involved in the church soul-winning program and are excited about sharing the Gospel. The Lord has allowed me the opportunity of taking them both through a short weekly course on why we use the King James Bible.
We are anticipating the return of the Vanuatu workers within the next few weeks. Their team leader was more than happy to allow us to conduct a Bible study during the last strawberry growing season. These people have humble hearts and are always willing to listen. We are asking the Lord to expand this ministry this year. The young couple from our church who are assisting a missionary in Vanuatu for a few months will undoubtedly be a great help in reaching these workers with the Gospel.
Please pray:
1. That John and Minh will obtain permanent residency to enable them to remain working in Australia.
2. For Louise and her father to understand the Gospel and be saved.
3. That we continue to see more visitors come to church and more souls saved.
4. That Phil and his wife will be able to find a home closer to our church to enable them to attend more often.
5. For Laura’s continued healing and strength and that the cancer does not metastasize.
All that the Lord continues to do in our midst is a great encouragement for more of our church family to get involved in reaching the lost around us. Our co-labor in this corner of the globe would not be possible without your support. Thank you again.
All for His glory,
Andrew and Laura Steers
