I address you once again with profound joy to share the progress of God’s work here in the Dominican Republic. My wife and I thank the Lord very much for allowing us to invest all these years of work in favor of all those who have been saved and of all those who have trained to serve the Lord.
The work is always very intense and demanding because of the great need of the Gospel. Lately, I have been preaching in several churches, not only in Spanish, but also in congregations where the Gospel is preached in Creole due to the high number of Haitians on the island. The Lord is allowing Haitian churches to start all over the country. In the last several months, I have had the opportunity to win several Haitians to Christ using an interpreter.
Another reason for the intense work is the need for workers. At this present time, there are several churches without a pastor, and although workers are being trained, there are never enough. We must always be helping these churches in the preaching of the Word.
Thanks to all those who prayed for our Spring Program “And Ye Shall Be Witnesses” (Acts 1:8). This year, the Lord gave us the wisdom and grace to pray for a week from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. before the program. We could see the hand of the Lord work. During the last 3 months, we saw 135 people receive Christ as their Saviour, and several were baptized. We have given an effective follow-up to all who visited the church during the program.
An urgent prayer request for our church is that God would protect us from crime. Several brothers have been assaulted in the past months. A new convert was assaulted and wounded with a knife; the thumb of her right hand, by the mercy of God, was not amputated. Another young man has been robbed twice, and another one was assaulted in front of the church property. Please pray for our safety, because instead of being intimidated, we understand that the delinquency is the result of the lack of the Gospel in men’s hearts.
Thank you again for your faithful support during these years. Your financial investment and your prayers have sustained us and have contributed to our being faithful to our call to serve our great God. Glory to Him forever!

Con profundo gozo, me dirijo a ustedes una vez más para hacerle partícipe del progreso de la obra de Dios, aquí en la Republica Dominicana.
Mi esposa y yo damos muchas gracias al Señor, por permitirnos poder haber invertido todos estos años de trabajo a favor de todos aquellos que han sido Salvos, y de todos aquellos que hemos entrenado para servir al Señor.
El trabajo es siempre muy intenso y demandante debido a la gran necesidad del evangelio. Últimamente he estado predicando en varias iglesias, no solamente en español, sino también en congregaciones donde se predica en creol. Debido al alto número de Haitianos en la isla el Señor está permitiendo que iglesias Haitianas estén comenzando en todo el país, en los últimos meses yo he tenido la oportunidad de haber ganado a varios Haitianos para Cristo usando un intérprete.
Otra razón del intenso trabajo es la necesidad de obreros, en la actualidad hay varias iglesias sin Pastor, y aunque se están preparando obreros nunca hay suficientes y hay que estar ayudando siempre a esas iglesias en la ministración de la palabra.
Gracias a todos aquellos que oraron por nuestro programa de primavera “y me seréis testigos” Hechos 1:8. Este año el Señor nos dio la sabiduría y la gracia de orar por una semana de 6:30 a 7:30 AM antes del programa, pudimos ver la mano del Señor obrar. Durante los últimos tres meses 135 personas recibieron a Cristo y varios fueron bautizados, hemos dado un seguimiento efectivo a todos los que visitaron la iglesia durante el programa..
Una petición urgente de oración a favor de nuestra iglesia, es que Dios nos proteja de la delincuencia, varios hermanos han sido asaltados en los meses pasados, una nueva creyente fue asaltada y herida con un arma blanca, el dedo pulgar de su mano derecha, por la misericordia de Dios no se lo amputaron, pues le lesionaron el tendón por haberle producido una herida en el asalto. Otro joven ha sido atracado dos veces, y otro fue asaltado enfrente de la propiedad de la iglesia. Eso no nos conviene pues la gente le da temor salir a la calle. Favor de orar por nuestra seguridad, pues a pesar de eso no nos ha amedrantado para seguir ganando almas puerta por puerta, “Si Dios es con nosotros quien contra nosotros.”
Gracias de nuevo por su fiel apoyo durante estos años, su inversión financiera y sus oraciones nos han sostenido y han contribuido a que seamos fiel a nuestro llamado a servir de corazón a nuestro gran Dios, Gloria a Él por siempre.
Peticiones de Oración
1. Orar por seguridad de los Hermanos frente a la delincuencia.
2. Por los nuevos creyentes.
3. Seguir orando por US $140,000 para la compra de la propiedad para la Iglesia.
4. Por las iglesias que no tienen Pastor.
