Abigail Lenze Prayer Letter: Arrived in Ghana!!!Greetings from Ghana! Thank you for your love, prayers, and support! By God’s grace, I arrived in Ghana, and I am already starting to jump into learning the language, culture, and people. It is the result of your faithful prayers and giving that I am able to be here for a three-month survey trip.

On July 20, 2025, I was officially commissioned by FBMI to be a missionary to Ghana, West Africa. I flew out with the Speers family on July 24, 2025. The flight getting here was full of challenges and delays. Due to our missing our flight from Accra to Kumasi, we had to take a rental car to Kumasi. While we were waiting for the rental driver to arrive, a man walked up to Pastor Speer. Pastor Speer was able to start introducing him to the Gospel. While he has not yet received Christ, please pray that his heart will be open to the truth of the Gospel. God worked it out for His glory!

The team has been absolutely amazing, showing incredible patience with me as I learn and adapt to the culture here. They welcomed me into their homes and made me feel a part of this team.

I went to a Twi girls’ Sunday school class, and while I didn’t understand the language, I am hopeful to start picking it up soon. The people of the church were incredibly welcoming, and it has been a joy to see and remember friends from the last time I was here. The journey that started it all was the vision-clinic missions trip last September.

Today while I was walking to the church, I met a lady who was walking her daughter to school. We had a brief conversation, and I gave her an invitation to the church. Please pray that she comes to church and hears a clear presentation of the Gospel.

Thank you for serving Jesus!

Only by His grace,

Abigail Lenze
