Thank you for your prayers and financial support that keep us on the field.

We left home December 30 to travel to Hammond, Indiana, where Emily had hip-replacement surgery on January 10. The surgery was done in Hammond because our health coverage is under First Baptist Church. The church has agreements with local facilities and physicians, and our plan pays them directly. Because of this, we had very little out-of-pocket expense. The church put up with us—I mean, put us up in a very nice apartment on church property. We are very grateful for the way First Baptist Church took care of us during the six weeks we were there.

The surgery was successful, and Emily is progressing very well. She has virtually no pain. The surgeon said that hers was the worst case he had ever treated. She does 16 exercises at home and is also going to therapy in a local facility. Please pray for her continued recovery.

We returned home on Saturday, February 15, just before our annual Fires of Evangelism Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference. God blessed the conference. Delegates attended from 18 states in Mexico and 4 other countries. Ninety pastors, missionaries, and evangelists attended. Twenty people surrendered to serve God full-time. God used the speakers to challenge and encourage His people in their efforts to reach others with the Gospel.

These conferences are like family reunions. Many of our graduates attend, some of whom we have not seen in a while. They serve in almost every state in Mexico. If you ever want to see what your investment in this ministry has accomplished, just attend our conference next year. It will bless your heart to meet men and women whom you helped to train by supporting Mount Hebron Bible Baptist Institute. Thank you.

We resumed our itinerary of meetings the week after our conference here. We were in Oregon, California (twice), Indiana, North Carolina, and Texas. We were in two Missions Conferences, one Family Conference, the Servants’ Conference in Hammond, and taught a modular course on the Sunday school.

We got behind in our correspondence because of the six weeks we were in Hammond, so we want to give you a report on our work for 2024. We were in conferences in 5 countries, 20 states, 32 cities, 33 churches, 8 Bible colleges, 10 Missions Conferences, and 18 Leadership Conferences. We gave out 3,111 tracts, 155 John and Romans, 25 New Testaments, witnessed to 75 people, 55 of whom trusted Christ as Saviour. Emily won her first soul in Spanish. It is both exciting and humbling to see God use us in these meetings.

Our 2025 schedule is similar to 2024. We have already been in 17 churches and are scheduled to be in even more. Please pray for our health and that God will keep giving us the energy to keep up this pace.

Please pray as we continue our efforts to recover ministry property that has been illegally taken. We have made great progress and are on the verge of securing clear titles for three very valuable pieces of real estate. We are trusting God for the considerable sum of money needed to finish this process.
