Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference
August 12–15, we conducted our 18th Annual Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference. Dr. Mark Bosje, the missions pastor of our sending church, came to be the keynote speaker. What a great blessing He was to us! The theme for our conference was, “The Key to Effective Ministry,” which is love! The teaching each morning centered on the topic of loving others. We had over 370 registered delegates, who came from over 60 different churches. We praise the Lord for the great work accomplished through the conference!
Soul Winning
In August and September, I was able to lead 13 people to Christ through personal soul winning, and 5 of these converts have visited our church. Please pray for these new believers to be established in the faith and become disciples and laborers for Christ.
Medical and Vision Clinics
Dr. Waller and his team of workers from Truth for Today Medical Missions are planning to come to Ghana again to partner with our ministry to conduct 6 one-day medical and vision clinics. These clinics will take place November 3–7. Please pray for us to have wisdom for the planning and preparation for these clinics. Also, pray that many people will get saved and choose to be a part of our church as a result.
FM Radio Station
Our ministry is in the process of purchasing an FM radio frequency that will be able to reach the entire Ashanti region, where we are located, which has a population of over 5 million people. Please pray that we will be able to get this frequency soon. After we get the frequency, we will need to build a radio tower and purchase needed equipment to start the radio station. Many people listen to the radio here, and we believe this radio station will allow us to get the Gospel to many people. Please pray for God to provide the manpower and money for this to become a reality.
