“Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:38)
To God be the glory; great things He hath done. We rejoice to report on the work that God is doing. Silas, my faithful helper in the Lord, received a call from a former coworker, Aair, asking why he was so different. He then began to explain how it was because of Jesus Christ. After they talked for a while, Aair said she wished she had what he had. “You can,” Silas replied. He then shared the Gospel with her, and Aair called on the Lord Jesus to save her. Praise the Lord!
We have been faithfully passing out tracts and telling people about Jesus. One morning as we were beginning to do so, we saw a man and his wife at a park exercising by where we had parked our car. We handed them the tracts. They thanked us and went back to exercising. About an hour and a half later as we were coming back, the man was reading the tract, so we stopped and began to talk with them. They had just moved to the area a few days before and were looking for jobs. We shared the wonderful love of Jesus with them and asked them what they thought. Egg (the husband) answered very straightforwardly. Before I talked with you, I was 80% Buddha and 20% that there could be something else. But I believe that what you said about God creating everything is true, and it makes sense what you said about sin, so then it must be true about Jesus. Now I’m 50% Buddha and 50% Jesus. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17) Egg was still very engaged and inquisitive. We continued sharing Scriptures and preaching to them Jesus. I asked again, “What do you think?” To which Egg replied, “Now I’m 80% Jesus and 20% Buddha. Keep going—tell me more.” We continued sharing the Word of God, and after a little while, Egg said, “It has to be true; this can be the only answer. Now I’m 100% sure that Jesus is the truth, and nothing else is right.” I said, “Let me ask you some questions. Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God?” “Yes,” he replied. “Do you believe Jesus died for your sins?” “Yes.” “Do you believe Jesus was buried and rose from the dead?” “Yes.” “Do you believe Jesus is in Heaven?” “Yes.” “Do you know what He is doing?” “What?” “He is listening for you.” Then we quoted Romans 10:13 and said, “Jesus is listening for you to call on His name. Would you like to call on Jesus’ name and ask Him to save you?” “Yes, I would.” Egg and his wife Wan both bowed their heads and called on the Lord Jesus. Praise the Lord!
Bro. Isaac and the men in India are praising the Lord that they now have four motorcycles to help them get about to all of the villages. Souls are regularly coming to Christ in one of the darkest places on earth. They send a Great Big Thank You to all who gave to make this possible.
