It is amazing what God can do when we all work together! He deserves all of the glory for the campaign in Zacatecas. Tlaltenango had a population of 14,500 people and extraordinarily little exposure to the Gospel. It was an isolated town, and the people were still deeply rooted in Catholicism and traditions. It was also the first church we started from ground zero. Our first service was on June 15. The first weeks were slow, with just a few visitors in church. At the end of the 8 weeks, by the grace of God and because of your prayers and support, the Lord had given us over 300 decisions to receive Christ as Saviour, 77 first-time visitors, and 10 family units attending somewhat faithfully. To God be all the glory!
On August 18, by the grace of God, we will start an 8-week campaign in the state of Guerrero. This new church is in an indigenous area. It is another first for us. The Lord has given us a wonderful team of 6 confirmed workers and 2 other probable workers. There are 37 small towns in which many of the people do not even speak Spanish. We also do not have permission to go soul winning in these towns. In the mornings, we will be going soul winning in Ayutla, a town of about 50,000 people who speak Spanish, with an established church. In the afternoons, we will need to establish connections with the indigenous towns. We need much wisdom. A Bible Club is a good way. Many times, a family will invite people to a Bible Club in their home. In the home, we would have total freedom to share the Gospel of Christ. The young pastor has started a church in one such home.

¡Es asombroso lo que Dios puede hacer cuando todos trabajamos juntos! Se merece toda la gloria por la campaña en Zacatecas. Tlaltenango tenía una población de 14.500 personas y una exposición extraordinariamente pequeña al evangelio. Era una ciudad aislada y la gente todavía estaba profundamente arraigada en el catolicismo y las tradiciones. También fue la primera iglesia que comenzamos desde cero. Nuestro primer servicio fue el 15 de junio. Las primeras semanas fueron lentas con solo unos pocos visitantes en la iglesia. Al final de las 8 semanas, por la gracia de Dios, debido a sus oraciones y apoyo, el Señor nos había dado más de trescientas decisiones para recibir a Cristo como Salvador, setenta y siete visitantes por primera vez y diez unidades familiares que asistían con cierta fidelidad. ¡A Dios sea toda la gloria!

El Señor nos ha dado un maravilloso equipo de seis obreros confirmados y otros dos probables. Hay 37 pueblos pequeños en los que muchas de las personas ni siquiera hablan español. Tampoco tenemos permiso para ir a ganar almas en estas ciudades. Por las mañanas iremos a ganar almas en Ayutla, un pueblo de unos 50,000 habitantes que hablan español con una iglesia establecida allí. Por las tardes necesitamos establecer conexiones con los pueblos indígenas. Necesitamos mucha sabiduría. Un Club Bíblico es una buena manera. Muchas veces, una familia invitará a su casa a los que hacen un Club Bíblico. En el hogar tendríamos total libertad para compartir el evangelio de Cristo. El joven pastor ha comenzado una iglesia en uno de esos hogares.

1. Personas que se salven y sigan al Señor.
2. Sabiduría para hacer conexiones en los pueblos indígenas.
3. Los trabajadores y las finanzas de nuestro ministerio.
