Winter Vacation Bible School
We were excited to host a two-day winter Vacation Bible School for children this July. The theme was “Ocean Commotion.” Christa and several ladies all helped with crafts and decorations, while Juan (our song leader) and I did the games and lessons. The kids loved the big cardboard ark that the children could enter and use for play. We thank God for the visitors who came and the eleven souls saved during this time.
Christa was walking to pick up kids when she encountered a small child and her mother sitting outside catching some sun to keep warm. She was able to invite them to church for the VBS. The whole family came later, and all heard and received the Gospel! We thank God for His continued hand of blessings.
Visitors
One thing that has been exciting is to watch our people start inviting their friends and family to church and to hear the Gospel. A very faithful man from Venezuela named Luis recently brought his brother Alex. I was able to sit with Luis, answer his questions, and also give him the Gospel. Please continue praying for these new converts to continue to grow and want to learn more about the Bible.
Upcoming
Our people are getting excited for our Children’s Day celebration coming in August. This day will be a time to invite the neighborhood to come get to know us and to invite them to church. We are praying for new families to be reached and for open hearts with which to share the Gospel. Please pray for visitors to come and for souls to be saved during these activities on August 16 & 17.
Winter has brought its own challenges, with a lot of sickness that spreads rapidly. Please continue praying for our health to continue to serve the Lord here in Uruguay.
Thank you for continuing to give and pray! We love you all so much.
