Hello friends! An overdue newsletter to rejoice with you in God’s continued working and blessings in the ministry here in London, Ontario. God is building His church, as we seek to continue to obey His call to preach the Gospel, win souls, disciple converts, and edify the believers! Just this last week, God helped us have about 20 soul winners who went out soul winning. During the course of the week, there were 8 souls that were saved! We were blessed to have one lady join us for church this past Sunday morning. She told my wife that she works as a cashier at a Canadian Tire here in town, and a couple of different people at different times had given her one of our church’s “Happy Face” Gospel tracts. She said, “I told myself that I needed to go visit that church, and here I am today!” Praise God! Our labours are not in vain in the Lord! Let’s all keep on caring and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others!
This past Sunday was Father’s Day Sunday, and God gave us a blessed day of rejoicing in our Heavenly Father, as well as honouring and recognizing the fathers and men of our church. It is a joy and honour to serve the Lord with these men whom God has raised up here to serve in the ministry!
Some wonderful recent blessings have been the return to our church of a man who left our church over 12 years ago. He was the first man I baptized here in London back in the summer of 1997. He served the Lord with us for many faithful years, but over time, he became inconsistent to our church, eventually leaving it altogether! On the last Sunday of April, he came back to our church for the first time since 2013! Last week, he went out soul winning with me again for the first time, and we were able to lead a lady to the Lord Jesus Christ in door-to-door soul winning! What a joy it is to see a brother restored and getting involved in serving the Lord with us once again at LBC!
It has been a great blessing to see growth in our discipleship efforts in and through the church. Truly, God’s Word changes lives, and God has been growing me and growing our church family as we have been growing in our discipleship Bible study efforts (discipleship pictures to the right).
