Marco and Lauretta Hannel Prayer Letter: Salvations at a Tent Meeting!Truck and Bus Update!

We were able to take the truck on its first few trips since we had done much work on it. Unfortunately, we ran into more issues when we were in Florida, but God provided exactly what was needed to fix it—the parts, the tools (since we weren’t traveling with any), and the extra help to do the work. We were also able to get new batteries for our bus and move it! Please pray with us that our truck will continue to run smoothly and that we can keep the bus project going so that we can move into it as our home on the road!

Tent Meeting

God opened our schedule so that we could attend the tent meeting at Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. God had a specific plan for us to be there that week. It was evident that God was at work in many hearts, and the meeting was extended another day. The purpose for that was to invite the lost to hear a clear Gospel message. I went downtown with a group to invite folks, and Lauretta invited our neighbor and a man who was working in the neighborhood. The Holy Spirit was at work, and that man invited two others, who also came to the meeting. They stood up during the preaching to leave, and I ran after them to talk to them. Two of the three men asked Jesus to be their Saviour right there outside the tent meeting!

Florida

Pastor Josh Sweet and his son Austin at Faith Baptist Church in Silver Springs, Florida, were a great help and encouragement when our truck needed its wheel hub replaced. Our children also greatly enjoyed playing at the park and watching the chickens there! I was able to preach a service and give my personal testimony at the men’s prayer breakfast. We then headed over to Bible Baptist Church of Crystal River. I was able to present the ministry and preach, and Lauretta sang. We were thrilled to see decisions made to further the bus ministry there! God was at work, and we were so blessed by the church’s love and care for us during our short visit.

South Carolina

We enjoyed a short trip to a camp meeting at Welch Creek Baptist Church. I was able to be a part of the services and help a church that was also visiting with their vehicle. We enjoyed some family time and stopped to see my college trade school teachers who now teach at Bob Jones Academy. It was uplifting to see them after about five years.

Praise

Our son Enoch and daughter Alice were both able to get baptized on Easter Sunday! We are excited to see them taking steps of faith to follow the Lord.
