Do You Remember I Got Saved?
On September 24, Alice came to my wife and asked if she could get saved. Lauretta led her in a prayer for salvation, and she immediately had a desire to tell people about it! Since that time, she has continued to ask us, “Do you remember I got saved?”
Indianapolis
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the people of Crossroads Baptist Church for their Missions Conference. We taught in Sunday school classes, presented the ministry, ministered in children’s church, and I preached. We were thrilled to see more families coming to the church since their Vacation Bible School in the summer. It was exciting to be a part of getting more prospects during their soul-winning time and seeing 6 salvation decisions.
Pennsylvania
It wasn’t an accident for us to attend the Missions Conference at Landmark Baptist Church. We lost communication with the church until the day we were to be there, but God used that conference in a big way. We were so encouraged and helped by the preaching and the friendly people who attended there. Our children loved the opportunity to sing in the kids’ choir and go to their fall hayride and cookout. The 15 souls saved and 4 baptized, as well as the testimonies we heard from some of the members, thrilled our hearts. I spoke in the academy, in children’s church, and got to be on one of the bus routes. God is doing a work through the bus ministry there, and we are so thankful we could have a part in it!
Michigan
The people of Berean Baptist Church in Adrian, Michigan, flooded us with so many gifts and so much love. From the moment we stepped through the door, they already knew our names and showed us they cared so much. We are so grateful for the encouragement they gave to our children and the opportunities we had to share our hearts at the meals and the question-and-answer times. We are also praising the Lord for 2 saved, 1 assurance of salvation, and 1 baptism!
Extra Blessings
The Storms (Keep the Buses Rolling) came to see us the night we ministered in song and preaching at Berean Baptist Church. They are always a huge blessing to be with. God has also been gracious to us in allowing any issues with the truck to happen while we are parked at a church instead of while traveling. God is good!
Arizona
God helped us get to Valley Baptist Church in Mesa with no traffic and no vehicle or trailer issues! We are so grateful to my brother for allowing us to borrow his camper for this long trip. It was a joy to get to know the other missionaries at Valley Baptist Church’s Missions Conference and to experience the wonderful working church there. We were encouraged by all of the ministries and by all of the people who want to be involved in the church. We also loved seeing the Siemers from FBMI and fellowshipping with them. I was able to help lead 3 people to the Lord, and Lauretta saw 1 saved. We were so blessed by the offering of cards and encouragement to us.
