Alabama
God opened a door for us to attend a conference in Wetumpka, Alabama. We prayed that God would give us some good contacts for ministry opportunities through this visit. He answered that prayer, as we met more preachers and missionaries, as well as reconnected with a few we’ve already met. Above all, God spoke to our hearts through the wonderful Bible preaching and teaching during the conference.
Georgia
The atmosphere at Crossroads of Life Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia, is full of life. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the other missionaries and the church family. Their giving heart was evident by the thoughtful gift basket we received and the countless other small gestures that showed they cared. We were thrilled to see one young man get baptized while we were there too.
Indianapolis
God gave us a last-minute open door to be at the Missions Conference of Charity Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was eye-opening to see the number of international people in their church and in their community. The world is truly at their doorstep. I was able to teach the children’s church, and Lauretta spoke to a young girl about assurance of salvation and baptism. Another boy made a profession of faith as well! Our children were sad to leave the wonderful friends they made there, but we are thankful that they have such a great opportunity to make so many friends in the ministry. Next, we get to be with Crossroads Baptist Church, also in Indianapolis. We are looking forward to what God will do through this meeting.
A Short Trip
While in Indianapolis, we had an open Sunday evening to visit one of our supporting churches in Illinois. We loved going back to see the kind and encouraging people of Calvary Baptist Church of Olney, Illinois. It was exciting to see some improvements they have made to the church and hear how God is blessing. We count it a privilege to be able to have a part in each of these churches through prayer.
