March was kicked off at Iglesia Bautista Victoria in Baytown, Texas. I loved hearing the people speak on the many souls they had seen saved that weekend! What an incredible church! Turning north, we spent the next Wednesday with Iglesia Bautista Puerta Abierta in Dallas, Texas. Heading through the Bayou, we spent the next Sunday with Grace Baptist Church in Marrero, Louisiana. A highlight from this church was their soul-winning training time before the evening service, which was well attended and very informative. The need in the New Orleans region is incredible, and our prayer as we departed was for more laborers in that needy place.
Returning to Texas, we jumped into a Missions Conference at Grace Baptist Church in Flower Mound, Texas. A sweet time was had! Our next meeting was with Pastor Kaighen and Grace Baptist Church in Harrisonville, Missouri. The church family pulled together to host a wonderful Missions Conference!
Our final meeting of the month was in one of our favorite places to be in the United States—Missoula, Montana. Rachel grew up about thirty minutes from Lighthouse Baptist Church and has attended some of their special events throughout her teenage years. It was a joy to go out throughout the week passing out Resurrection Sunday invitational packets. Despite Satan fighting, God showed up in a mighty way, with souls saved, visitors in church, and decisions being made to get involved in missions. Hallelujah! We also got to spend this week with Ruby’s Papa and Grandma. They enjoyed taking her on an Easter egg hunt and making more memories with her.
Soul Report
Throughout the month of March, we were able to witness to four souls! I thank God for churches like Grace Baptist Church in Harrisonville, Missouri, who are systematically knocking doors in their area and forming Gospel connections. It was during one of these endeavors that I met Joanna. She was hoping that one day she would be in Heaven. She allowed me the time to go through the entire Gospel, especially highlighting the reason for the Resurrection. I asked her, “Joanna, if Jesus was standing right here at your door offering to gift you eternal life, would you say yes?” She said, “I would, but I would rather do that on my own.” Pray that she will! Some soul winners will be following up with her.
Family Update
Illness struck our family quite severely in March, leading to COVID, colds, and pink eye. We thank God for His healing and for the loving churches that were so gracious to us. God is answering prayer! Progress is still being made in Ruby’s British Citizens Application. We just mailed off some original documents to the UK Immigration Office. Please pray that we get those back in a safe and timely manner. We praise God for another increase in our support, bringing our current level to 72%! Also, we are excited for the four more churches that have recently voted us into their missions team. God is good! Thank you for remaining faithful!
Prayer Requests
- For safety as we travel through Arkansas, Wisconsin, and Illinois this month
- For opportunities to present the Gospel
- For Ruby’s Citizen Application to progress smoothly
Ruby’s Adventures
Ruby’s new infatuation is playing with Play-Doh! She loves making little balls, cookies, pizzas, and snakes. It has certainly helped us pass the time in airports and restaurants.
For His glory,
