Thank you for taking our family before the throne of God in prayer! God blew a big gust into our sails this month with our support surpassing the halfway mark—50%! All praise to Him! Thank you for joining us on this journey of faith.
October was yet another busy month for our family, with many meetings and Missions Conferences! We kick-started the month in Box Elder, South Dakota, with friends at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Pastor & Mrs. Schultz and the church were a blessing to our family, and we enjoyed having a part in their services.
From South Dakota, we began our eastern journey to Midwestern Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska, for their Missions Conference. Everything was done first-class, and we left encouraged. The following Sunday kicked off a nine-day stretch of Missions Conferences, which started in Illinois and ended with us flying to California! We were with four awesome churches during that time (pictures on the right). Praise the Lord that there were no delays! What a blessing!
From California, we flew to New York City to be with Bible Baptist Church of Jackson Heights for their Missions Sunday! This church in the crowded heart of Queens is a vibrant place. Their pastor, Stephen Taala, was impacted directly by the work of an American missionary in the Philippines. Praise the Lord for fruit from the field being led by God to start a church in needy New York City!
We concluded October with a final flight to Chicago, and then we drove to Indianapolis, Indiana. Glory Baptist Church graciously allowed us to be in their Missions Conference. We traveled a total of 7,166 miles this month, of which 2,169 were driven miles. Praise the Lord for His safety and provision!
Soul Report
It was a joy to witness to four souls this month, with one saved! I knocked on Tyrome’s door in Omaha, Nebraska. He came to the door and answered my starter question with, “I’m with Jesus.” After more queries, it was plain that Tyrome wasn’t saved. Sweetly, a few minutes later, he bowed his head and accepted Christ! Glory to God!
Family Update
In our last letter, we asked for specific prayers for our health. God permitted us to go through another round of fall illness, which we are glad to be over with. Thank you for praying; and, Lord willing, the worst is behind us. I’m so grateful for my amazing wife who has worked so hard this month. A busy stretch is straining on our family, but so many kind Christians have gone out of their way to help us during this time. November continues the busy fall! Thank you for partnering with us for the harvest!
Ruby’s Adventures
A…B…C… We are in the alphabet stage already! Our little talker has been given some interactive ABC learning toys, and she has been soaking in the teaching they provide. It’s a joy to see her develop!
