We have had some exciting times in the past weeks. We were able to make a quick trip to El Salvador for two weeks. We found round-trip tickets for $250 from Washington D.C. It was the first time taking our boys on a trip to El Salvador. We got to spend some time with my parents, Henry and Tammie Gonzalez. We were able to be a part of judging the Christian school’s first Science Fair, go soul winning, and have a teen activity on a Sunday afternoon. It was encouraging to see the teens still being faithful from the last trip we took to El Salvador in 2019. It was also encouraging to see many new faces (people) that had been added to the family of God.
We attended the Missions Conference at Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa. We were able to meet a gentleman, Bro. Linares, in their Spanish ministry. He is a Salvadorian man, and after talking for a few minutes, we figured out that he has a nephew who lives within five minutes of the church in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Pray with us that we will be able to reach that young man. We are so thankful that we can still reach El Salvador from our season of deputation.
While soul winning one Saturday, I tag teamed with Pastor Jones in Michigan, and we got to lead a young lady named Jackie to the Lord. Will you pray that she will be able to attend church, get baptized, and start growing in the Lord?
We were able to attend FBMI Missions University in Hammond, Indiana. It was such a refreshing time to join other veteran missionaries and new missionaries. We had a week full of learning, and we are grateful for all the work that the staff put into the event.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to pray for our family. We do not take it lightly that we have God’s people all over the country praying for our safety and health and for us to be able to further the spread of the Gospel wherever we can. Thank you all for your faithfulness to our Saviour.
For His glory,
Daniel & Megan Gonzalez
