I want to begin this letter by thanking all of you who are serving God faithfully in the place to which He has called you! Through social media, prayer letters, emails, etc., it seems like almost every day I hear of the Gospel changing someone’s life! As always, I want to encourage you to stand fast. He is worthy!
Since our last letter, much has taken place. In the first week of June, we conducted our third “Who Will Go?” Youth Camp in Jos. This one was the largest-attended of the three. Throughout the 3 camps, we had 350 people attend, about 30 people called to preach or surrender to get Bible college or institute training, around 200 surrender to do whatever God wants them to do, and at least 5 people saved! We were so happy to partner with Missionary Young, Missionary Christiansen, Pastor Adewale, and the host churches so that these meetings could happen. Thank you to those who gave financially! We had $4,000 given specifically for the camps which, humanly speaking, enabled us to be able have them. I believe that we will soon be training some of those who surrendered to be pastors and full- time Christian workers. God is working in the hearts of Nigerian youth!
In the middle of May, I traveled to Idanre, Ondo State, to help start a Bible institute at Grace Alone Independent Baptist Church. The program was very successful, and there are around 15 students enrolled for the institute. On the Saturday before the launch of the institute, I was able to go soul winning with the church. Through the pastor’s interpreting, I was able to give a clear presentation of the Gospel to 2 different groups of people. After the Sunday morning service, I was able to lead 3 of the visitors to Christ! One of the visitors who got saved also enrolled in the Bible institute! We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity that God has given us.
At the end of May, my sending-church pastor, who is also my brother, came to visit us! We were thrilled to have him stay with us for a few days and show him what God is doing here in Abuja. On the day that I dropped him off to go back to the States, I picked up my younger sister from the airport! We are excited to have her here for a few weeks. Please pray that God would use her here to reach Nigerians with the Gospel! Zeke and Gianna have been thrilled to have visitors in the house, especially because it’s their aunt and uncle!
Please be in prayer for Erin, my sister, and our co-pastor’s wife, as the will be traveling to Port Harcourt for a Ladies’ Conference. We are praying that God will work in the lives of the Nigerian women who will hear the teaching of God’s Word.
Thank you so much for your continued support of the ministry here! We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
Daniel, Erin, Ezekiel, and Gianna Lang
